WicketPixie Is Even Better Now!

I’ve used my incredibly awesome PHP skills to fix WicketPixie and add some improvements. Technically, it’s either licensed under the GPL or a license compatible with the GPL, so I could just give you a link. However, that would be rude, so I’ll have to email Chris Pirillo for permission before I take any such action.
Anyways, I’ve done numerous things like fit it all into /wp-content/themes/wicketpixie/, no need to install plugins or create a /wp-content/uploads/activity/ folder. Speaking of activity, the activity stream works again, so you can see all my web footprints on the Social Me page. I’ve made a few updates to the admin UI as well, including visual feed detection and faster page loads. I’ve made backend changes too, though I really should’ve written them down as I went along, as I have a horrible memory.
I was thinking of adding in some AJAX, maybe in the update widget at the top of the screen or the activity stream. I also moved from Apache to Lighttpd using FastCGI, and I have noticed a speed increase. Also, I decided to use a different background, so I took one of the wood backgrounds and changed the colors around to a nice green shade.
Once again, I won’t post a download until either Chris gives me permission or the WicketPixie available on his site becomes so outdated I must post a download. As of this post, consider this version of WicketPixie to be v1.0.3.

Looks fine to me, unless you’re talking about the live stream, flickr, and youtube bits. If you want to remove those, edit home.php and find the appropriate section.

Hey Eddie! I dont suppose you know how to fix an IE7 issue with Wicketpixie? I use WicketPixie as well and everything looks normal in Firefox and Safari but in IE7 I have a major gap below the title of my Blog.
Thanks.

Well, Google “wicketpixie css fix” and look for a download of screen.css . That should fix the IE gap problem.
PS: Im wondering if there is a way to add other drop downs similar to the “Subscribe” dropdown.
