What are FavIcons?

Ah, so you’ve noticed the little icon that is next to every url in your web browser eh? Well, some web sites have custom icons, and these are called FavIcons. FavIcons are also used to represent a website when a logo is too large. For example, look at the My Profiles widget on the site sidebar. You will see the FavIcons of most of the sites where I have profiles on. So, you want a FavIcon for your own site? Well, it only took me two searches to find one, the first one turned out to create bad quality icons, so I would not recommend it. The second site however was very helpful, and it provided me with 16 x 16 and 32 x 32 PNGs. The site is really a page on HTML-Kit, and that page is called FavIcon from Pics.
I am using one of the FavIcons I created on their now.
