How to test out a new WicketPixie feature

I’m currently working on a new WicketPixie feature, which basically sends out a status update whenever I make a new blog post with a link to that new blog post. Currently I have code written so you can choose between Twitter and Ping.fm, Ping.fm being recommended because 1. I use it myself, so I can test it out better and 2. Ping.fm can also post to Twitter.

So anyways, this is just a test post, because the code is written, and I am testing out the Ping.fm code right now. WicketPixie should send out the update right after this post is published, so wish me luck!

Here goes nothing. You’ll know it works when you see a link to this post (in ping.fm shortened url format) up in my status updates box.
