From FeedBurner To Google: MyBrand And A 404 Error (Part 3)

The troubles are finally over, because Google has implemented what looks to be their final solution to the MyBrand 404 error issue. The CNAME record you have set for your feed right now is probably something like, an obfuscated form of your email followed by the google subdomain for FeedBurner. Now, instead of your obfuscated email it is a random code. I immediately changed the record once I heard the news of the change. Here is what my CNAME record looks like now:
feeds.eddieringle.com CNAMEÂ sn9uwq.feedproxy.ghs.google.com
Simple, right? I thought so.
Stop what you are doing and right now, log in to your FeedBurner account and go to the MyBrand page to get your code and change your CNAME record. You might want to do this soon, because most likely Google will disable all of the old values.
Hopefully this trilogy will remain a trilogy, and we will not have any more issues.

hey man,
Thanks for the posts. Very useful, but still can’t get ours to work. Whole thing just bum’d out since the 01st of May. Did you have to do anything else or add re-directions etc. Thanking you in advance.
Best
